About BNI

BNI Vision was founded in 2004 and has been growing ever since. We are now a platinum chapter which is the highest level a BNI chapter can attain. BNI Vision is consistently in the top 10 chapters in its region, and this is reflected in its members appearing in the top 10 members as well. BNI Vision regularly has over 60 professionals attending weekly meetings.


Successful businesses depend on ‘word-of-mouth’ marketing as the best form of promotion. Being active in BNI is like having over 50 sales people working for you, because your fellow members will be carrying your cards and referring your business to people they meet. BNI also provides a structured, supportive, business environment in which local business people can get together to network, learn valuable new marketing skills and develop the strong personal relationships that lead to trust and the consequent generation of significant business for each other.

The philosophy of BNI is based on “Givers Gain” – if I give you business you will want to give me business.

Our members meet together in a variety of events including:

    • Networking breakfast meetings
    • 1:1 business meetings
    • Industry based meetings
    • Training events
    • Social events and
    • Community events.

BNI allows one person from each industry category, so joining our chapter would effectively lock out your competition.

The leadership team of BNI Vision is responsible for planning for the future growth of the chapter. Like any good business we set goals and monitor our progress towards achieving those goals.

Our two most important goals are:

  • To turn over £6 million in 2017/18
  • To become a chapter of 70 outstanding businesses

BNI Vision is run by a leadership team with designated roles.

President. The President chairs the meetings and ensures the smooth running of the chapter

Vice President The Vice President chairs the membership committee and tracks the performance of the chapter in terms of business passed. The MC also deals with new member applications and administering the policies and procedures of the chapter.

Secretary/Treasurer (Finance Director) The Chapter treasurer administers and manages the finances of the chapter.
